Lycée Francais de New York was a private school housed in five restrictive, historic Manhattan town houses. Its principals contacted the Albanese Organization to help them as their development manager for the building of a new school. The end result of this exciting assignment is a new 157,000 square foot complex that provides a new generation of educators and students with an architecturally stimulating, efficient, and high performance learning environment. The construction challenges included a 35-foot depth rock excavation to accommodate a below grade gymnasium with clear spans of over seventy feet.
